QBCBC 44: Modus Hoperandi

The Quest for the Best Cheap Beer in a Can continues, episode 44: Modus Hoperandi from the Ska Brewing Co. The QBCBC archive is here.

The idea of this beer BLOWS. Me. AWAY. An IPA in a motherfuckingcan! Has the lord answered my prayers? I might become born again in the light of his noodly appendage after this.

% Alcohol: 6.8

Price: $8.99/6 12 oz. cans = $1.50/12 oz. can

Punch: 6.8%/$1.50=4.53

Color: Very brown, caramel-y.

Aroma: Sweet, delicious hops.

First Sip: Nice and hoppy, but not overbearingly so. Hints of caramel and citrus, like orange rind.

Aftertaste: Bitterness develop, but end in a slight caramel-y overtone.

Overall: I have one word for this beer: EPIC. I love it. I wish it were cheaper, but the taste is very nice.

Score: 10/10
