QBCBC 41: Sapporo Premium Beer

The Quest for the Best Cheap Beer in a Can continues, episode 41: Sapporo Premium Beer. The QBCBC archive is here.

The only time I ever drink Sapporo is when I go out for sushi. As if it really fucking matters, but I guess it makes the experience more ‘authentic’. Yeah, whatever.

% Alcohol: 4.5

Price: 2.79/22 oz. can = $1.52/12 oz. can

Punch: 4.5%/$1.52=2.96

Color: A lighter shade of amber.

Aroma: Has a cheap beer with hops smell to it.

First Sip: Very crisp and the hops snaps at you right away. Definitely has a lot more flavor in it than its aroma gives away.

Aftertaste: Slight bitterness on the back of the tongue. Doesn’t last long.

Overall: While its a solid beer in a can, it isn’t cheap as it is an import. You can get the same beer  for a much higher Punch!!

Score: 6/10
