The Quest for the Best Cheap Beer in a Can continues, episode 12: Milwaukee’s Best Ice
This is a new beer for me. I have no preconceived expectations to give.
% Alcohol: 5.9
Price: $1.19/24 oz can = $0.60/12 oz. can
Color: Yellow, like every other fucking cheap ass beer in a can.
Aroma: Its definitely in the stale beer and drunk piss covered Superbowl stadium bleachers at 2 am category. Quite horrid, can’t pick out any particular overtones other than a slight hoppiness. This doesn’t bode well…
First Sip: Slightly more flavor than Miller Lite or Bud Light. I guess that’s a compliment, sort of? Can barely taste the slight hoppiness but it tastes sweet, in the starchy cheap corn beer way, and watered down.
Aftertaste: Slight metallic bitterness on the back of the tongue. Doesn’t go very smoothly despite its watered-downness.
Overall: Not good. But I guess it might try a new slogan “Hey, we’re not as bad as Bud Light or Miller Lite!” Cause that’s about all you got going for you right now.
