QBCBC 2: Budweiser

Quest for the Best Cheap Beer in a Can Episode 2: Budweiser

Claimed by itself as The King of Beers, its more likely the bastard prince of rancid water. Budweiser uses hops and malt, but is a rice-based brew, which should make it fairly cheap so long as rice prices hold.

% Alcohol: 5

Price: $6.39/6 pack = $1.07/16 oz. beer or $0.80/12 oz. beer

Punch: 5%/$0.80=6.25

Color: Pale golden

Aroma: fairly odorless, kind of like water…

First Sip: Very light. tasted very little hops almost no malt.

Aftertaste: Bland, barely a bitter in there.

Overall: Why did I fucking waste 7 dollars on this shit?

Score: 4/10

It gets points for having alcohol in it.

In the summer, when I’m outdoors, sometimes I’ll drink Bud when I’m really thirsty because it’s almost like drinking water. At least I feel like I’m staying hydrated.

Ditto. Didn’t realise it had that much alcohol in it. “Weak, near-frozen gnat’s urine” is, I believe, the best way to describe it.
