For The Libation Lab: The Moscow Mule

Happy Christmas, everyone!

Tonight I bring you a tasty adult beverage to add to the Libation Lab, courtesy of my lovely and talented brother Rob—chef and bartender extraordinaire. This drink is called the Moscow Mule.

The Moscow Mule

The Ingredients:

For Lime Air:

• 225g H2O
• 275g lime juice
• 1.5g lecithin

For Ginger Simple Syrup:

• 2 cups H2O
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 thumb ginger, peeled and chopped
• N2O charges
• ISI soda siphon

Vodka

Ice

The tools

Method:

• For lime air: Blend all ingredients together with handheld blender.
• Ginger: Cook all ingredients together, let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and chill. Pour into soda siphon. Charge with N2O. Shake for one minute. Charge again, and shake. Dispose of charge.
• Spray ginger soda into glass over ice. Pour vodka into glass.
• Top with lime air.
• Enjoy!
